Welcome To The Laurelton History Project

Laurelton Center is located on 245 acres of land along PA Route 45, 40 miles east of State College and 9 miles west of Mifflinburg in Union County, PA.

The Laurelton History Project is a collection of materials from five years of research work by the Administrator of the site and a great number of supporters.  Always interested in the family and home lives and work and activities of the women of the West End of Union County, Pennsylvania, the Administrator, upon publication of her book "Women of Weikert" in 2017, decided to try and learn a "bit" more about the place where many of these women were employed.  That "bit" of gathered information comprises this site.
